Traisental cycle path - a pilgrimage to Mariazell

Against the backdrop of the Traisen’s calm babble, the Traisental cycle path goes along quiet secondary roads from the Danube through the picturesque wine region of the Traisental valley and the state capital of St. Pölten to the alpine Mostviertel and Mariazell. The first section, from Traismauer to Kernhof, is relatively easy and very suitable for families.

Ybbstal cycle path: From Danube to alpine lake

The heart of the Ybbstal cycle path between Waidhofen an der Ybbs and Lunz am See is the domain of wheel spokes rather than train tracks. With your bathing costume in your luggage, it is a relaxed 55 km ride to your destination, when the track finally reveals the deep green Lunzer lake at the foot of the Dürrenstein. The ideal place to rest your tired legs on the quay and unwind.

The Thaya Tour: cycling as if on railway lines

Where steam locomotives used to chug along the rails, families and pleasure cyclists can now enjoy the picturesque and idyllic landscape along the Thaya tour route.
