The Kirchenwirt in the heart of the Wachau World Heritage Site in Weißenkirchen offers a stylish hotel and restaurant where tradition meets modernity in a cosy atmosphere. Each of our 4 hotel buildings and rooms has its own charm and are individually designed for every taste, taking into account the preservation of historical monuments. For the ever increasing desire for relaxation, the Kirchenwirt offers suites and double rooms in the completely revitalised "Wellnesshaus" with adjoining wellness area with Finnish sauna in the vault, infrared, steam, heat bench and relaxation rooms with "vineyard atmosphere".
After a bike tour, hike or walk, we spoil you in our gourmet restaurant with classics of Lower Austrian inn culture in our historic vaulted rooms or on our new restaurant terrace with a view of the 600m² hotel garden designed according to Feng Shui or the historic fortified church of Weißenkirchen.  

Arriving via public transportation:
Take the Franz-Josefs-Bahn to Krems, change to the Wachau Line 715 bus, travel to the "Weißenkirchen/Wachau Fähre" stop, approx. 6 minutes' walk.
Take the Westbahn to Melk, change to the Wachau Line 715 bus, travel to the "Weißenkirchen/Wachau Fähre" stop, approx. 6 minutes' walk.
