“Wind, wine and water” is the slogan of the Discovery cycle tour, which is around 97km long, and leads from the fragrant vineyards and along the banks of the Danube, to the reed-covered shores of Lake Neusiedl.

From close encounters of the Roman kind, to Baroque joie de vivre – the historic discoveries are endless. Nature lovers will also have something to rejoice in – the Discovery Tour provides what it promises, from the green riparian forest in the Danube-Auen National Park, to the reed beds in the Neusiedler See-Seewinkel National Park.

The numerous stopping points along the comfortable, flat road not only offer water and wine, but also culinary delights. The journey by train to the three stages, which lead from Neusiedl am See via Bruck and der Leither, to Pertronell Carnutum, from Petronell Carnutum to Kittsee, and from Kittsee to Neusiedl am See. The start and end points have good connections to the public transport network.
