From Stiftsberg, the Göttweig abbey overlooks the marsh-covered Danube valley. The tranquillity, strength and long history of the monastery complex can be enjoyed intensively from April to October as a guest in the Benedikt apartment. At 120 m2 with its own small library and view of the adjacent Dunkelsteinerwald, you can get away from your hectic routine. Where once the abbot used to reside, today up to four people can be accommodated.
Tip: Around the monastic life you can taste numerous wineries and go on long walks.
