Room description:

The house, newly renovated in 2019, with its 2 vacation apartments BIG and DUO, is situated in the middle of greenery on a southern slope, protected by trees and shrubs that provide cool shade. The hosts live two houses away. You might be sitting on the terrace - still sipping your coffee, or already sipping a beer - and letting your mind wander, letting yourself go. Your gaze wanders over the open Waldviertel landscape, the church tower beckons. A few bathers thinking about going home over there remind you that the village's freely accessible swimming pond is just a three-minute walk away, which you could use free of charge around the clock if you wanted to. The neighbors are at a "safe distance" and you finally have time for yourself.

The air is clean, and forests, meadows and water await you in the immediate vicinity. You are very close to nature and the experience of nature. You have decided to turn your back on the urban heat. You can even go rock climbing right next to the house! We are "SteinREICH" in Arbesbach. The climate-related merging of spring, summer, fall and winter is particularly beneficial for you in Arbesbach. By that we mean that you can do everything here almost all year round: Sit outside, enjoy your hiking or cycling tours, romp around with the children, settle down with a book on a lounger. The beach volleyball court, children's playground, "Busserlpark" with its fitness trail, soccer pitch and tennis court are all within walking distance. So of course you can also be active. Marked hiking trails such as the Bear Trail and the Bee Theme Trail (see also Teddy Bear Trail) also start almost around the corner. For more "outdoor" activities, we recommend first climbing the "Stockzahn", which towers close behind the house. The key is available at the Huber bakery. In winter: 35 km of groomed cross-country ski trails, snowshoeing, guided winter hikes or a toboggan ride give you the feeling of freedom. Ice skating and curling are more popular than ever. Or you can plan an alpine skiing day in Kirchbach, Karlstift or Liebenau with your children.

The UrlaubsREICH is self-catering. But here you have the huge advantage that there are two bakeries just around the corner, as well as a supermarket and several inns. As you can see, hunger won't be a problem here and contact with the locals is relaxed. Try the delicacies of the region: from roast pork with real Waldviertel dumplings and Waldviertel poppy seed cakes to organic yogurt and organic breakfast eggs straight from the farmer. You will find what you are looking for. And all this in and around the village of Arbesbach. You are undisturbed, yet centrally located in the village and almost within calling distance of your host if you have any questions. By the way, the hot tub, the "Swedish-style hot tub for bathing fun" (officially called "Skargards Swedish Hot Tub"), which is located in the garden, can also be filled by your host Martin in summer. It is not reserved for winter.
