Bad Deutsch Altenburg train station

The Bad Deutsch Altenburg station is located along the route of Vienna's S7 rapid transit line in the spa town of the same name. In the cozy waiting room you can bridge many a waiting time pleasantly and the digital train destination displays provide excellent information about the current train operation.

Over 110 parking spaces for cars and mopeds make it easy to change to the train. Space has been created for more than 40 bicycles in the Bike & Ride Station.

• Connecting buses to Bruck an der Leitha and Hainburg are offered directly in front of the station.

History & Recreation

The Carnuntum Museum is less than 15 minutes walk from Deutsch Altenburg station. In the magnificent country villa, you can experience Roman history up close and personal, and the ever-changing special exhibitions with new and interesting themes invite you to come back again and again.

In the local spa centre Ludwigstorff, which is about 20 minutes' walk from Deutsch Altenburg railway station, health and culinary delights come together. The extensive range of spa & wellness facilities offers everything from massages and mud packs to the famous sulphur baths. Seasonal and regional delicacies are served in the restaurant.

The adjacent spa park invites you to take a long walk along its beautifully laid out avenues all the way to the Danube.

Tip: A total of 8 exercise routes start from the spa gardens. The barefoot and themed trails for even more vitality are offered especially for Nordic walkers and hikers, but also promise walkers a refreshing experience.
