Description

The Sonnenhof tour makes it possible to discover the winter landscape peacefully and offers one of the most beautiful views of the town centre including the parish church of Lackenhof. Once you reach the top, the more comfortable Mandlboden winter hiking trail follows, where you come directly to the rustic Mandlboden hut, with a magnificent view of the Gr. & Kl. Ötscher. From there it goes via the forest chapel back to the village.

Equipment

You need a sporty winter garment (waterproof, windproof and breathable), firm and waterproof winter or hiking boots reaching over your ankle, gloves, a winter hat and sunglasses. A backpack with granola bars and drinks in a thermos for the trip, spare clothes to change, balaclava and a second pair of gloves (mittens), ski goggles and sunscreen.
