Mostviertel mulled cider
Serves 4
- /2 l pear cider (for best results, a strong or crisp pear cider)
- 1/8 l water
- 4 - 5 cloves
- 1 cinnamon stick
- Brown rock sugar to taste
Method
Heat cider, water and spices in a pan with rock sugar to taste but do not allow to the boil.
Leave mulled cider to steep for around 5 minutes on a low heat and serve in preheated glasses.
Tip: Try putting sliced oranges and lemons in the pan
