Description

The Schlosskeller Staatz combines cultural and culinary offerings in a varied and entertaining way. It is one of the few relics of Staatz Castle, which was built around 1680 and burnt down in the last days of the war in 1945. The upper part of the castle cellar is open from May to September. Under the "Böhmische Platzl", the entrance area of the cellar, winegrowers, self-marketers and clubs from the market town take turns to prepare regional delicacies, which they then serve in the arbor in front of the cellar.
