Motorfähre Dürnstein-Rossatz

Ferry travel has been a tradition in Dürnstein for centuries. From Easter to the end of October, the motor ferry connects Dürnstein with Rossatz.
During ferry times, the ferry switches back and forth between the banks of the Danube as required, so that there are usually no long waiting times, except in the event of heavy crowds. The service is suspended in the event of high water, Sturm, thunderstorms or special circumstances. The private passenger and cycle ferry has been operated exclusively with electricity and solar energy for several years.
