Brand - Nagelberg

Glass production and refinement has a centuries-old tradition in the market town of Brand-Nagelberg. Here you can experience the path of glass from the fire to the finished product in an almost untouched natural landscape. The only glass village signs in Austria and the unconventional village lighting reflect the philosophy of the municipality as a glass art village.

The five villages are connected by hiking and cycling trails, and in winter by 40 km of cross-country ski trails. Along these routes, various rock formations, such as the picturesque Hinterpocher or the legendary Pumperskirchen, can be discovered alongside ponds and high moors.
