BonaTerra - here I get the whole variety of the good earth!
In Deutsch-Wagram, just outside Vienna, in the Pannonian climate of the north-western Marchfeld region, the Friedrich family's fields grow not only cereals and a variety of green crops, but above all fresh organic field vegetables and around 100 different varieties of organic strawberries, which are available directly from the farm after harvest.
The farm name BonaTerra - the good earth - is the premise of their farm community, which has been farming organically for almost a decade and a half, namely to create and maintain a species-rich, living soil through sustainable cultivation. Only this provides an appropriate basis for life for soil organisms, plants, animals and for us humans, as well as vital, nutritious and tasty food.
Anyone interested in growing vegetables in harmony with nature can experience and learn for themselves at the "Wir säen-Sie gärtnern und ernten" self-harvesting facility in Deutsch-Wagram.
