Mondial
Our Green Meeting tip: Through its ‘Green Groups’ project, Mondial organises bespoke group trips, making it a pioneer in this field across Austria.
Mondial Reisen was the first tour operator to use the Austrian Eco-Label for travel packages. However, the approach taken by the “Green Groups” project is entirely new – rather than certifying off-the-shelf packages, it caters to companies’ requests for individual, bespoke programmes and then certifies the specific trip itself. In this way, Mondial Reisen meets its customers’ need to offer ESG-compliant options, including in the areas of incentives, staff outings, team-building events, etc.
A coherent overall package: sustainable group travel goes far beyond environmental protection. Every aspect of the trip is carefully and thoughtfully selected and brought together into a cohesive overall package. This is achieved with great sensitivity and – very importantly! – expertise, as well as with the help of a professional network in the regions. After all, it is only by working together that sustainability can be put into practice and designed in a way that makes sense for everyone.
When designing sustainable travel programmes, Mondial places great importance on the following components:
Travel to and from the destination is by climate-friendly transport (train, bus).
The hotels hold the Austrian Eco-Label and have sustainability at their very core.
The on-site activities are resource-efficient, authentic and, above all, regionally based. This ensures the local spirit is incorporated, and the experiences are authentic and memorable.
Every group trip, training course, seminar and incentive programme thrives on the right activities – Mondial has the necessary network and instinct for this.
