All-round route

There is no shortage of leisure activities in Vitis and the beautiful surrounding region. If you want to enjoy as much of the Waldviertel as possible, take the Vitis circular trail. Starting from the main square of the market town, which is less than a quarter of an hour's walk from Vitis train station, the loop starts via Eulenbach to Heinreichs and on to Jaudling and Jetzles before returning to Vitis for the four-hour circular hike. Enchanting views and cozy resting places are a constant companion along the way - as is the delicious cuisine of the regional wine taverns and toque-awarded restaurants.
