Guided hike directly to/on the Schneeberg.
Description
Meeting point valley station chairlift (bus line 350 from the station departure 8:30 am), via the Weninger trail into the Breite Ries, further via the Northern Grafenseig onto the Faden, stop at the Almreserlhaus or the Edelweißhütte. Return via the yellow sign to Losenheim or further via the Dürre Leitn, descent red sign – Schabrunst to the starting point (bus line 350 from the valley station of the Schneeberg chairlift 4:16 pm). A possible ride with the Schneeberg chairlift is not included in the price.

Directions
Take the A2 to the Wr. Neustadt West exit. Then take the B26 to Puchberg am Schneeberg along to Losenheimer Straße 103.

By train to Wr. Neustadt and from there by regional train to Puchberg am Schneeberg.
Direct excursion train on weekends: Departure at 8:41 am from Vienna main station, return at 4:36 pm from Puchberg station.
By bus from Neunkirchen, Ternitz (line 350), and Pernitz (line 330) to Puchberg station. From there continue on line 350 to Losenheim to the valley station of the Schneeberg chairlift.

A wonderful hike that leads directly to the Schneeberg through the Breite Ries. Here you can truly feel the mountain and imagine how massive the gullies and rocks are.
