Experience the apricot blossom on the south bank of the Wachau, on the approximately 1.6 km long pleasure hiking trail in Aggstein, easy to walk, no inclines and also suitable for strollers.

Description

Get off at the Aggstein bus stop in Aggstein (address 3394 Aggstein, Donauweg 3), walk a short distance west along the federal road, at the guesthouse Aggsteinerhof to the Danube, along the towpath or cycle path along the Danube heading west, cross the federal road at Marillenstraße, follow Marillenstraße to Schlossleiten and return over the large parking lot of the ruins to the bus stop.
