Route description Falkenstein Wall - the view of Frankenfels
From the starting point at the church, we walk along a municipal road into the Redtenbach Valley, where above the last settlement the hiking trail branches off to the Falkenstein Wall.
Through the romantic forest, we ascend below the massive rocks of the Falkenstein Wall to the resting place "to the Good Shepherd," who watches over his sheep, the women and men of Frankenfels, like a good shepherd.
After a short rest, we continue hiking until we leave the forest and reach the summit cross of the Falkenstein Wall along the edge of the forest.
From here, you can see the main town of Frankenfels and admire it like a bird from above.
Back at the meadow, we walk along the Stauchzeile to the service road, on which we come to the Redtenbach chapel and then to the old mill at the Redtenbach.
We continue down the street, where we reach our starting point again.
