The Gästehaus Haiminger, formerly Schmelz, in Weißenkirchen in der Wachau, offers a warm welcome in the middle of the vineyards. The accommodation offers cozy Premium bon-vivant rooms, a double room "deluxe" and comfortable vacation apartments for 2 - 6 people. The central yet quiet location makes for a relaxing vacation. The guest house is personally staffed daily from 8 am to 2 pm, after which a self-check-in is available. A rich breakfast buffet with regional, high-quality and, if possible, organic products, including homemade apricot jam, is offered. Vegans and guests with intolerances are catered for.

An AB farm & souvenir store offers a selection of homemade wines, brandies, jams, juices & syrups as well as handmade souvenirs from the surrounding area. The guest house is centrally located in Weißenkirchen, with restaurants, wine taverns and a supermarket in the immediate vicinity. The banks of the Danube with its beautiful bathing beach are just a 3-minute walk away. An e-bike rental service is also available. At Gästehaus Haiminger, every guest is a friend.
