Description
Kirchberg am Wagram is a market town in the Tulln district, located north of the Danube on the distinctive ridge of the Wagram and is known, among other things, for its viticulture. Some of the best vineyards of the region are within the municipal area.
The main town stands out in a special way. This may be due to the prominent location on the crest of the Wagram or to the institutions and businesses that are based here. The regional center and the district wine shop “Weritas” are based in Kirchberg.
Another special feature is the Alchemists' Park with its exceptional fruit trees and shrubs. A delicate urban flair can be felt when you visit the marketplace on a summer Saturday morning and absorb the atmosphere of the “Kirchberg Snack Market.” Farmers from the region offer their produce here. Welcome to the heart of the Wagram region!
