Pure variety awaits you on your active holiday trip in the most beautiful natural surroundings - the necessary energy for the elevation meters and kilometers is provided by numerous opportunities to stop along the route, where you can get to know the region from its culinary side. Look forward to three stages of active relaxation: forests, water, mountains, sheep cheese, natural bathing lakes, and much more - the choice is yours! Return comfortably with the Himmelstreppe of the Mariazellerbahn.

Equipment

A safe and functional mountain bike is a prerequisite for all routes. Helmet and gloves protect in case of falls and can be supplemented on single/shared trails with knee and elbow protectors. A modern mountain bike with disc brakes and sufficient tire tread is recommended. For single and shared trails from the red difficulty level, a fully with modern geometry is recommended. Tools, tire levers, pump and spare tube help in case of a breakdown. Sufficient provisions (drinks and food) should also be carried as well as a mobile phone and wind/rain jacket.
