The scenic hike passes the Rabenstein ruins and aims for the summit cross of Geisbühel (849 m). Returning to the start is via the anniversary path.

Route description Rabenstein ruins - Geisbühel

Train station/market square (344 m) – Castle ruins (495 m) – Josef Franz Hut (841 m) – Geisbühel (summit cross 849 m) – "Upper Zögernitz" – "Lower Holz" – "Behind Prielwies" – Röhrenbachstraße – Market square/train station

Directions

On the B39 towards Mariazell, turn left at the town "Rabenstein an der Pielach" towards the train station and follow the signs to the station.

Oggersheimerplatz, train station

For the journey, the Mariazell railway is recommended since the starting point is the train station.
We take the Mariazell railway towards Mariazell and get off at the stop "Rabenstein an der Pielach."
