Description
Along the route there are also numerous sights, which are marked by their own signage and invite you to visit.
From the Thaya spring and the nearby grass labyrinth to the Bernhardoase near Walterschlag and the Moata and the Millennium Living Tower near Siebenlinden, many interesting excursion destinations can be discovered.
The name of the route comes from the fact that the origin of the German Thaya, one of the two source rivers of the Thaya, is located in Schweiggers.
The Thaya spring has always been a trademark of the market town and an important identification feature for many local residents – as can be seen not least from the municipal slogan "Schweiggers at the origin".
