The market town of Sankt Leonhard am Forst in the district of Melk consists of the cadastral communities of Aichbach, Grimmegg, Ritzengrub and St. Leonhard/Forst. The municipality is characterized by valuable wayside shrines, figures and columns from past centuries. The stately late Gothic parish church with its high Baroque interior is a particular highlight. In Ritzengrub there is an old manor house from the 16th and 17th centuries - and an impressive family mausoleum. The municipal office is housed in a former castle with elements from the 16th and 19th centuries.
