Brief description

Scenically unique – idyllically nestled between vineyards at Goldberg, Hausberg and Eisenhut – is the village of Großriedenthal.

Description

With more than 500 ha of vineyards, Großriedenthal is one of the most important wine-growing communities in the Wagram. Due to the special soil composition of the Wagram, you will discover plants and grasses on your hikes that you will find nowhere else.

Route description "Tut gut!" hiking trail Großriedenthal

We follow the signs of route 2
In the opposite direction to route 1, the path goes from Reithergraben to Diebsnest – onward to Eisenhut (350 m) – downhill on unpaved paths towards Steingrube – further over Goldberg towards the cellar lane Wolfsgrube – back over the hollow path to the starting point, the church Großriedenthal.
