Your stay

The campsite is idyllically situated by the 10-hectare Müllerteich pond, ideal for relaxing and unwinding away from all traffic noise. 3,000 m² of camping area are at your disposal for a vacation close to nature. Reingers and the region offer fishermen, hikers, cyclists, mushroom hunters, golfers, horse riders, mountain bikers, swimmers and culinary connoisseurs plenty of entertainment. There is also a cozy hairdressing salon with parlor, refrigerator, ironing station, washing machine, showers, toilets and dormitory in the attic.

With its 30 pitches, Austria's northernmost campsite is also one of the smallest. Located at the end of the village of Reingers, the site offers all the infrastructure that campers could wish for and expect. It is open from Easter to October (depending on the weather).

The small but beautiful central building is modeled on the Waldviertler Haarstube. A long time ago, the Hoarstub'n served as accommodation and workspace for servants during the winter months. They slept, cooked, ate and processed the "Hoar" (flax, hemp) in a confined space. However, the Hoarstub'n at the Reingers campsite is exclusively for the comfort of guests. The shower and toilet facilities are barrier-free, the water comes from the "Goasberi" (=Gaisberg) and is heated by the power of the sun. Many an acquaintance and friendship has been made in the Stüberl over a glass of wine or a strong sip of hemp beer.

The Haarstuben campsite in Reingers is the ideal starting point for more or less strenuous hiking and/or cycling tours thanks to its location in the middle of the extremely low-traffic area. The network of paths on both sides of the border leaves nothing to be desired.

Mushroom hunters, fishermen, hunters or those seeking peace and quiet from the daily grind will find the longed-for oasis of tranquillity and unspoiled nature in Reingers!
