The Korkenzieher, a 15-meter-high observation tower in the winegrowing region of Traisental, offers a breathtaking view of the Danube floodplains, the Weinviertel, the Waldviertel, the Tullnerfeld, the Kamp Valley ("Kamptal" in German) and the Vienna Woods all the way to the Schneeberg.
A 3.1-kilometre circular hiking trail leads through the picturesque nature of the Eichberg and Ahrenberg wine cellar lanes, where you can enjoy the silence of nature and the scent of the forest floor.
After the hike, the wine taverns of the Ahrenberg and Eichberg cellar lanes invite you to linger with their excellent wine and delicious regional specialties.

For the romantics, the corkscrew offers a unique opportunity: a wedding on the observation tower with a brilliant view over large parts of Lower Austria. As a special gift, the municipality of Sitzenberg-Reidling dedicates two vines in the wedding vineyard at the foot of the observation tower to each newlywed couple.
