Amphitheatre civilian city

Historical sites

Description

The amphitheater of the civil city was located outside the urban settlement area and could seat 13,000 people. The walls of the arena have been preserved to this day and can be visited free of charge. Right next to it is the wooden training arena of the gladiator school, which was reconstructed in 2014. A convenient footpath leads from the parking lot of the Roman Quarter to the amphitheatre.
