AMPHITHEATRE CIVILIAN CITY
The amphitheater of the civilian city was outside city limits and seated 13,000 people. The original walls of the arena still stand today. The remains can be viewed free of charge. A short path leads from the car park to the Amphitheatre.
GLADIATOR SCHOOL
The wooden training arena for the gladiator school of Carnuntum was erected next to the amphitheater. The existence of the school was discovered in 2011.
