Ausflugsberg Hegerberg

The Hegerberg is a popular destination for many hikers, cyclists and also cars or motorcycles. From the Hegerberg you have a great view of the Schöpfl, Hocheck, Gföhlberg, Kieneck, Unterberg, Schneeberg, Rax, Reisalpa, Göller, Ötscher etc. In the other direction, you can see the Jauerling, Göttweig, Sitzenberg and Neulengbach with the Buchbergwarte. The summit cross on the Hegerberg lies at an altitude of 655 m. The refuge on the Hegerberg is currently open from Thursday to Sunday.
