Description

The bee museum is a unique experience for anyone interested in the fascinating world of bees. With 15 to 20 exhibits, including central wall presses, feeding containers for the winter and Carinthian farm hives for sending young colonies, the museum offers a deep insight into beekeeping. Flight boards, honey extractors and beehives are also on display. An educational bee trail with 10 stations, including an educational apiary and a two-comb showcase, offers an interactive learning experience. In the museum store, interested visitors can purchase various bee products, including forest, blossom and creamed honey, propolis tincture, mead (honey wine), beeswax candles and Bärenfang (honey liqueur). The bee museum is an impressive testimony to the importance of bees for our ecosystem and a fascinating attraction for all age groups.
