Dorfkapelle Wolfsbach
Church, Scenic lookout
Description
The village chapel just outside Wolfsbach is a popular place to pause and linger, and not just among the locals - you can enjoy a wonderful view of nearby Wolfsbach and the surrounding hilly landscape from the village chapel.
The chapel, dedicated to the Holy Spirit, was built in 2003 in collaboration between the municipality of Wolfsbach and the local cultural association to a design by DI HR Friedrich Fischer and impresses with its atmospheric architecture. The glass cross and the art project "Full House" by Manfred Erjautz, which is located directly in the chapel, are particularly impressive.
The chapel is open during the day and can be ideally combined with a hike along the approx. 4.5 km long meditation trail.
