Filialkirche Würnsdorf

Church

Description

The branch church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul consists of a steeply roofed nave, a small vestibule, a sacristy annex and a massive tower. Two small, narrow windows at the front of the flat-roofed, hall-like church interior indicate that the church may have already existed in the 14th century. The church was first mentioned in a document in 1544. The baroque furnishings were removed and the church interior redesigned during a renovation in 1972.
