Fjordland Kampseen
Outdoor adventure
Description
Ra is enthroned high above the water on a headland that juts far out into the lake, with one of the most beautiful views over the Kamp lakes. The climb is particularly worthwhile at sunset. The Ottenstein reservoir and the Dobra reservoir are among the most popular predatory fishing waters in Europe and are a true paradise for fishermen and nature lovers.
The three new lake houses on the Dobra reservoir are an insider tip, offering exclusive glamping comfort in the middle of unspoiled nature. Those looking for peace and quiet will find relaxation here between water, forest and sky.
The smaller Thurnberg reservoir impresses with its elongated shape, clear 23-degree water and numerous swimming and leisure opportunities. The northern shore is particularly attractive with its "little wilderness": gnarled hornbeams, moss-covered rocks and quiet spots with a view of the mirror-smooth water surface.
A highlight for hikers is the Kamp Valley ("Kamptal" in German) Lakes Trail, which connects the three lakes over 17 kilometers. The four-hour tour leads along the shores with magnificent panoramic views. And after the hike? A dip in the cool water or a boat trip across the calm waters of the Fjordland Kampseen lakes make the nature experience perfect.
