Description
There is a large bathing beach with sunbathing lawn, unique bathing jetty, new sanitary facilities with disabled toilet, beach volleyball court, minigolf course (clubs and balls available at the pond buffet) and playground. Guests can enjoy refreshments at the pond buffet on site.
The 11-hectare pond is also a paradise for anglers.
Day tickets, 2-day tickets (two consecutive days), 5-day tickets are available at the pond buffet, at the Langschlag municipal office, at Biobauernhof Anderl in Siebenhöf 14 (next to the pond) and at Ulli's petrol station in Liebenau. They are also available online at www.hejfish.com. Season tickets are only available at the municipal office.
The annual Waldviertler Frauenlauf also takes place at the Frauenwieserteich.

In the immediate vicinity of the pond buffet is the Biene.Langschlag adventure park with 10 display boards and an open bee house where you can watch the bees at work in the show hives. Guided tours can be booked with the chairman of the beekeepers' association on 0676/3911 656.
In winter, the pond is the starting point for the Frauenwieserteich cross-country ski trails, which are part of the Aktivwelt Freiwald - more information at www.aktivwelt.at
Bathing regulations for the Frauenwieserteich pond:
1. the outdoor pool at Frauenwieserteich is open free of charge to all visitors who behave in accordance with the provisions of these bathing regulations and the special instructions of the supervisory staff.
2. bathers must behave in such a way as to avoid endangering other bathers. Persons with infectious diseases or infirmities that endanger the safety of the sick and fellow bathers are excluded from the baths.
3. non-swimmers may only swim within the marked boundaries. Anyone who nevertheless goes beyond the aforementioned boundary does so at their own risk and responsibility. Small children may only use the facility under the supervision of their parents or guardians.
4. bathers who willfully damage the facility or the associated objects will be liable for damages. In any case, the legal representative of a non-adult is personally liable for any damage caused.
5. lighting fires, camping and storage is prohibited, as is avoiding anything that could disturb the peace of nature.
6. strictest cleanliness is to be observed throughout the bathing area; waste is to be placed in the waste containers provided. The facility must be left in such a way that no soiling, objects (glassware, etc.) are left behind.
7. motor vehicles are to be parked in the designated parking spaces. The municipality of Langschlag accepts no liability for accidents and parking damage.
8. in view of the nature of the baths, the municipality of Langschlag accepts no liability whatsoever for the loss of valuables.
9. it is not permitted to take animals into the outdoor pool area.
10. for the protection of the facility and its visitors, all persons are obliged to report any perceived violation of the bathing regulations to the supervisory staff.
11. the market town of Langschlag is not liable for damage or accidents suffered by users of the facility as a result of non-compliance with these bathing regulations or specially announced instructions of the municipality, for whatever reason.
