IGL-Park Korneuburg
Outdoor adventure
Description
The IGL Park in Korneuburg, established as a nature park in 2007 with the support of Sparkasse, is a place of peace and relaxation.
Its name is derived from the 'Immission Control Law-Air'.
The park is characterized by a variety of plants, including shrubs and flowering shrubs, fruit trees and berry bushes. The open spaces were designed as flower, bee and butterfly meadows to do justice to the diversity of insect species. A rondo with places to rest and linger invites visitors to linger and discover.
The majority of the park is a natural area left to its own devices, emphasizing the natural beauty of the surroundings. Every year in May, the IGL Park Festival is celebrated, an event that attracts visitors from near and far. The IGL Park is a real treasure for nature lovers and an oasis of peace in the middle of the city of Korneuburg.
