In "Lästerlieder" he once again shows his talent for inspiring the audience with his rousing songs and pointed stories. The perceived eternity of our lives and how important we take ourselves in the process is addressed, as are all the dispensable figures and experiences we encounter along the way.
A humorous journey through the peculiarities of society, from which Jimmy Schlager skillfully elicits all the details. About which we can wonder, ponder, smile or laugh heartily.
Cast: Jimmy Schlager - stories, vocals & guitar
Chris Heller - piano & vocals
Entrance fee: € 25.-
Saturday, 30.08.2025 - 20:00 - SIMONE KOPMAJER & BAND feat. TERRY MYERS - OPENAIR Schlosshof Drosendorf
When Simone Kopmajer got together with Terry Myers (leader of the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra) for a "Vienna Session" in 2023, they didn't expect a completely new album to come out of it. "Hope" contains brand new original material in a mellow and relaxed, jazzy mood as well as cover songs such as "Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay" (Otis Redding), "Careless Whisper" (George Michael) and jazz standards such as "Pick Yourself Up", "What a Difference a Day Makes" and "Old Devil Moon". Hope is generally very important to Simone Kopmajer and something she is always looking for in her daily life. Accompanied by jazz saxophonist Terry Myers, pianist Paul Urbanek, bassist Karl Sayer and drummer Reinhardt Winkler, Simone Kopmajer captures the classic vibe and also draws the songs from her own songbook. Kopmajer's sound is somewhere between jazz, swing and tasteful pop. Although her music is very relaxed, flowing and elegant, it is also very playful and varied.
Line-up: Simone Kopmajer - vocals
Terry Myers - saxophone
Paul Urbanek - piano
Karl Sayer - double bass
Reini Winkler - drums
Admission: € 29.
