Kamptalwarte am Heiligenstein

Description
The 21-metre-high lookout point was built in 1897 by the Austrian Tourist Club. It is located at 351 m above sea level and offers a wonderful view of Langenlois and the Kamp Valley ("Kamptal" in German). On fine days, the view stretches as far as the Ötscher and Schneeberg. You can reach the Warte from Zöbing in a half-hour hike through beautiful forests and the wine terraces of the famous Rieslingberg. (Access via the wine cellar lane at Heiligenstein).
The Kamptalwarte can only be climbed with a key. The key is available at the Ursin Haus and at the Fiakerwirt in Langenlois as well as at the Gasthaus Gutmann in Zöbing.
