Kellergasse am Sauberg
Cellar-lined roads
Description
The Sauberg is a fixture in the wine metropolis of Langenlois - idyllically nestled in the Waldviertel Kamp Valley ("Kamptal" in German). The annual cellar lane festival is particularly popular. For one weekend in August, the cellar doors are thrown wide open on the Sauberg. Wine tastings, music and delicacies from the winegrowers' kitchen ensure enjoyment and a great atmosphere.
Other culinary festivals such as the Wine Spring, the Autumn Pleasure Round Dance, wine baptisms and harvest festivals attract visitors to the Sauberg in Langenlois. In order to calm traffic, the wine cellar lane now has parking spaces on both sides.
