Kernstockwarte Kirchberg

The Kernstockwarte near Kirchberg am Wechsel lies at an altitude of 852 meters on the Wolfenkogel. From here you have a wonderful view over the Wechsel region. The Kernstockwarte is easily accessible directly from the center of Kirchberg via hiking trails and forest roads. The cycling and hiking starting point in Kirchberg am Wechsel is a good starting point .

Other access points are the leisurely hikes starting from the Molzbachhof and the Hasleiten hiking trail, or you can combine the view from the observatory with a hike along the Wiener Alpenbogen - Arc of the Viennese Alps (trail):
