Kogelkreuz Goggendorf

Scenic lookout

Description

The Kogelkreuz Goggendorf, located on the Kogelberg, is an impressive monument erected in 1965 by Josef Müllner as a thank you for his healthy return home from the war. A hike from Braunsdorf offers a breathtaking panoramic view and leads through numerous small natural biotopes. The last 700 meters to the cross have to be covered on foot, which adds to the charm of this hike. The trail begins where the field path ends. A visit to the Kogelkreuz Goggendorf is an excellent way to experience the natural beauty of the region and discover part of the local history at the same time.
