Description

The St. Oswald herb and snack garden is a public community garden that is freely accessible to all interested parties. It is run according to the core criteria of the "Nature in the Garden" campaign. These criteria stipulate that gardens and green spaces are designed and maintained without pesticides, synthetic chemical fertilizers or peat.

and what will develop over the next few years

In the herb garden you can

get to know and taste sweet fruit, herbs and vegetable rarities
Exchange and pass on herb knowledge
Intergenerational gardening
get to know ways of encouraging beneficial insects
Recover and relax

The "St. Oswald Herb Circle" was founded in 2017 by committed garden and herb lovers on a voluntary basis. It is an open group that meets at regular intervals. The garden is tended together, herbs and fruit are processed and specialist knowledge is exchanged. Herbal salts, ointments, tinctures and much more are also produced together. But the cozy part is not to be missed either - there is coffee and cake in the beautiful arbor after every meeting.
