Kunstfabrik Groß Siegharts

On the initiative of Waldviertel artist Günther Gross, a 150-year-old textile factory building in Groß-Siegharts was adapted and transformed into a center for fine art in the Waldviertel.

Since 2009, the Kunstfabrik Groß Siegharts has been presenting national and international contemporary art in the rooms of the former ribbon factory, which stands out for its extraordinary ideas, virtuoso technique, bold content and particular joy of experimentation.
On the first floor, in the former factory owner's apartment, the Kunstfabrik gallery presents contemporary artists five times a year who stand out for their extraordinary ideas, virtuoso technique, courageous content and particular joy of experimentation. In the young art project space, young artists are given the opportunity to try out their artistic visions and present them for discussion to an interested audience.
