Description

From the NUSSWerkstatt to the nusseum Krummnußbaum

The new nusseum Krummnußbaum has opened its doors and the nut products produced by the NUSSWerkstatt Krummnußbaum and the associated nutcracker collection are presented to the public. The nutcracker collection comprises more than 2500 different nutcrackers from all over the world. In addition to local pieces, old and new collector's items from Germany, France, England, Switzerland and even Australia, New Zealand and the United States of America are on display. In addition, changing themes are also planned, such as the smallest and largest walnuts from past nut festivals.

The NUSSWerkstatt works with partners from the region and for the region. Together, they make delicious products from walnuts, which gave their name to their home town centuries ago, in combination with other fruits from the region. Promoting sustainability and using regional products are the guiding principles of the business. Only hand-picked fruit is used, which is carefully and gently processed after sorting in order to bring out the flavor of the fruit in the best possible way. No artificial flavorings or flavor enhancers are used. During processing, the association uses tried and tested recipes and revives almost forgotten preservation methods. In this way, new creations are constantly being created in the NUSSWerkstatt.

The nusseum is one of the treasures of the Nibelungengau. All other treasures full of enjoyment, variety and the best views can be discovered at www.nibelungengau.at!
