Pfarrkirche Feuersbrunn
Church
Description
The parish church of St. Ägidius in Feuersbrunn is elevated on the south-western edge of the village and dominates the townscape. It was originally a gabled church with a west tower, which now serves as the choir.
The baroque nave was added in 1761 or 1774, while the south chapel dates back to 1679. Three rococo altars from the construction period characterize the interior. The church was extensively restored in 1930, 1969 and 1985. It is part of the Hadersdorf deanery in the "Unter dem Manhartsberg" vicariate of the Archdiocese of Vienna and is a listed building - a place of history, faith and art.
