Schaukelweg

Outdoor adventure

Description

Swinging, seesawing, climbing and relaxing on the unique swing path on the Mönichkirchner Schwaig.

The unique Schaukelweg - a circular hiking trail with a length of approx. 2.7 kilometers - starts at the mountain station of the Sonnenbahn on the Mönichkirchner Schwaig. This can be reached sportily on foot or comfortably with the 4-seater chairlift. (Please check the opening hours of the chairlift in advance) From here, the mascot Lella, a little cow, leads you from station to station and tells you about her life on the alp. It goes from the target jumping to the seesaw mill, the unequal seesaws and the bell concert. From there it is not far to the highest point of the swing path - the Almschaukel. The Almschaukel is a viewing platform with hanging chairs to relax and unwind and offers a stunning view over the Mönichkirchner Schwaig. While you relax and enjoy nature, the kids can let off steam at the climbing tower or at milk jug bowling. Return via the balancing course and the alpine slide, past the May carousel, back to the mountain station. From the top station of the Sonnenbahn you can get back to the bottom station on foot, with the 4-seater chairlift or in an action-packed way with the scooter or mountain cart.
