Sole Felsen Bad

The Sole Felsen Welt in Gmünd has become a unique visitor magnet in the Waldviertel.

Guests appreciate the large selection of different pools with fresh and salt water (up to 3% concentration of Bad Ischl healing brine). The temperature of the pools is a pleasantly warm 32 -34 °C - numerous massage jets & loungers, floor jets, a spring stone with waterfall, adventure slides and a current channel make every visit to the pool an experience.

The unmistakable sauna landscape welcomes visitors with fragrances, warmth and well-being. Here you can experience pure sauna pleasure. The sauna world with its well-tended sauna garden has 7 different saunas ranging from 60-95°C for you to enjoy. The outdoor area features a forest and panorama sauna: elegant panorama windows and terraces offer a breathtaking view of the sauna garden, nature and Asang pond. A steam grotto, infrared cabin, solarium, relaxation rooms, whirlpool, plunge pool and water treading pool as well as spacious shower and cooling facilities round off the sauna experience with plenty of comfort.

Always open until 11 pm on days before public holidays!
The popular sauna festival takes place every first Friday and Saturday of the month. (18.00 - 23.00 hrs)

From Gmünd train station, you can take the 725 bus (Mon-Fri) to the "Gmünd NÖ Sole Felsen Welt" stop and arrive directly at the Excursion destinations. From Gmünd train station 20min walk (1.4km)
