Themenweg Aspang-Markt

The Wechsel region is an eastern foothill of the Alps. Aspang, the tourist center of the Lower Austrian Wechsel communities, is located in this fascinating landscape. The 2.5-kilometer themed trail leads past numerous interesting points in Aspang-Markt. It includes four adventure stations: The Geo-Park provides information about rocks and mineral treasures from the surrounding area. Here you can also see drill cores from the Semmering Base Tunnel and learn more about the historical significance of the Wechsel and Roman times. On the Sterzlweg adventure trail, families can experience nature with play and puzzle stations. The pond area invites you to relax in summer and ice skate in winter. The Rösslerpark, a "park of the senses", is a place of rest and energy. There are also useful facilities along the theme trail, such as an info point, parking lot and toilet facilities, as well as an outdoor pool, mini golf course, beach volleyball court and children's playground.
