Description
The perfect summit for leisure hikers and families: the Tirolerkogel scores with moderate routes and beautiful panoramic views. Once at the top, the Annaberger Haus welcomes hikers of all ages. The well-run Alpine Club refuge is reliably open all year round. The ascent is rewarded with views as far as Ötscher, Schneeberg and Hochschwab. Another very special place to stop for refreshments in the region is the popular Anna-Alm with one of the most beautiful views in the entire Ötscherland region.
The idyllic mountain landscape of the Tirolerkogel impresses with numerous hiking routes through forests and meadows. The surrounding leisure paradise of Annaberg also offers countless fresh air experiences for climbers, bikers and horse fans.

Many paths lead to the Tirolerkogel. A family-friendly selection for extensive hikes (incl. refreshment stops along the way):
- Annaberg - Tirolerkogel - Eibl - Türnitz (around 5 hours)
- Retzbachtal - Falkenschlucht - Lackenkogel - Tirolerkogel (around 3.5 hours)
- Route tour: Türnitz - Eibl - Falkenschlucht (around 9.5 hours)
