Description

The 1,276-meter-high Ulreichsberg is located in the Limestone Alps in the southern Mostviertel region of Lower Austria, not far from the Styrian border. Its summit is called Hoher Ulreichsberg, it is partly thinly forested and offers good distant views into the Styrian-Lower Austrian Limestone Alps. In the immediate vicinity of the Ulreichsberg there are also the Sulzberge and the Klauserkogel with an altitude of 1,047 meters.

Tips in the surroundings

  • A hike through the Falkenschlucht Türnitz. The gorge with up to 100 meters high and steep rock walls carries water all year round.
  • Stop at the country inn Sägemühle and enjoy home cooking, as well as seasonal specialties.
