Wachaulabor

Museum

Description

The future is being worked on in the Nordbastei. In the newly adapted entrance area of Melk Abbey, the pupils of the Abbey Grammar School present their own exhibition. Together with proven experts, the "museum makers" develop exhibitions in workshops at regular intervals.
Under the working title "Wachaulabor", a critical, artistic-experimental examination of various topics is to take place. Various teachers and classes will be involved in the implementation, working on individual work packages as part of school lessons. The school's many talents will also be involved as individuals wherever possible. The Wachau laboratory can be visited daily as part of the admission to the monastery.

"Wachaulabor" is the title of the think tank - a critical examination of the past and a possible future for the Wachau as the pupils might one day shape it.
