Weberkeller Röschitz
Museum, Wine experience
Description
A "panopticon of loess and clay" is the name of the excursion destinations located deep underground. In this popular tourist attraction in Röschitz, you will find countless motifs carved in clay from times gone by as well as portraits from Greek and Roman mythology and sculptures of generals, artists, rulers and politicians in the approximately 200-year-old wine cellar. The interesting and remarkable clay vault was carved by the artistically talented members of the Weber family from the 1920s to the early 1980s.
